Albuquerque lies at an elevation of over 5,000 feet, and enjoys a high desert climate.  Days are generally sunny and warm but as the sun sets, the temperature falls; the city experiences an average change of 27 degrees from day to night all year.

Elevations in Albuquerque:

4500 ft. in the Rio Grande Valley

6500 ft. in the foothills of the Sandia Mountains

10,378 ft. at Sandia Peak

10,678 ft. at Sandia Crest

The average high temperature in the Spring is 71 degrees and low temperature is 42 degrees Farenheit.
