NAAP Provides Many Opportunities for Professional Growth on a National Level
NAAP holds an annual conference in the spring. Participants have an opportunity to attend approximately 13 hours of general education sessions and 5 hours of special interest education, learn about the latest regulatory issues, network with their peers from around the country and internationally, serve on a committee, visit vendors specializing in resources for activity professionals working with elders at all levels of ability, and "recharge their batteries."
• NAAP and NCCAP worked together to develop the Modular Education Program for Activity Professionals, which set the standard for comprehensive learning and applicability for the activity profession.
• NAAP works with individual states/provinces to provide regional workshops both nationally and internationally. These workshops are tailored to provide customized continuing education opportunities for NAAP members and other interested activity professionals.

There are so many benefits when you belong to NAAP! Each member will receive a newsletter which will give the updated reports on Government Relations, Special Interests, International Updates, Professional Development, Nominations, Standards of Practice, Financial Updates and a Membership Report. Along with this comes an update from our President, Diane Mockbee and our Executive Director, Charles Taylor.
Members will also receive a discounted rate at the Annual Conference which is held in March/April of each year.
Membership dues are only $75.00 per year. If you are a student in the 90 Hour Basic or Advanced Courses, your dues are only $55.00 for the first year.
